About Pongo and Perdita
In the beginning
Hi, my name is Jane. I’ve been mad about dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up there were always dogs around. Airdale Terriers, Cocker Spaniels and Labradors to mention just a few loved ones, all gorgeous and all with their own personalities! As time went on, it seemed the natural move to set up my own dog care business. That was over 8 years ago now and I still believe that I have the best job in the world. During that time, I have cared for all sorts of breeds and all sorts of sizes – puppies, young dogs, small dogs, large dogs and old dogs! With my Fox Red Labrador Fig, by my side, we make up Pongo and Perdita Dog Walking Services Midhurst, we’d love to help you with your dog care needs.

I have gained a lot of experience over the years and gathered a wealth of wonderful friendships with the dogs that have walked. It has been my pleasure to give the best service I can to my clients. The foundations of my business are set on strong values – being reliable and trustworthy on every count and that I meet all of my clients expectations.

Safety, kindness and happiness are key responsibilities behind Pongo and Perdita Dog Walking Services. Never taking a risk and always being aware…..I only walk in very safe beautiful areas – we are spoilt for choice around Midhurst – always away from roads or any other danger. Walks are aways for the allotted time and groups are carefully managed to ensure all dogs are happy within their group of playmates.

Individual Hourly Walks

Collection and drop off.
Includes two group walks a day and time to rest in between.

I will always have an initial meeting with you to discuss your dogs needs and how I can help. Its important to have this brief chat prior to any walk or service that Pongo and Perdita can offer as its at this time, you can get to know me a little and your dog can too and we can discuss all the little things that make your dog special and to ensure I can give them the best walking experience.
Think We’re Ready
Once we’ve met and you are completely happy with me… and your dog is too, we’re ready to go.
The first two or three walks are always on a trial basis to make sure you dog is happy with the group and to check that you are happy with my service.
Also, just to add, I can only accept male dogs, if they have been ‘done’ and please make sure you regularly use a great tick and flea treatment on your best pal – we don’t want any of those pesky pests!
The Detail
Safety, safety, safety….each dog under my care has their own Pongo and Perdita collar – pink for girls and blue for boys, each with a dalmation dog tag with my number on it worn when we are out and about.
I’m fully insured and have a fit for purpose air conditioned van (essential for the summer months) with segregated areas for comfortable transportation.
